welcome to 2025-2026

This season exists because someone believed in us. That someone is the Central Valley Opportunity Fund, and thanks to their generous support, Phoenix Creative Collective has been reborn. From the ashes of possibility and perseverance, we rise with new stories, new stages, and a renewed commitment to bold, community-rooted theater in the heart of Downtown Merced.

Whether you're here for the laughter, the music, the drama, or just the popcorn—we’re so glad you’ve found your way back to the fire.

Welcome to our biggest season yet. Let’s make something unforgettable.

BECOME A SPONSOR FOR OUR NEW SEASON

Look, we get it. The world’s a lot right now. So why on earth are we asking you to sponsor a play?

Because sometimes the best thing we can do for each other is to create space for joy, catharsis, connection—and yes, a little theater magic.

Phoenix Creative Collective is trying to bring bold, weird, and heartfelt shows to the 600 block of Downtown Merced. We’re just a scrappy little firebird of a company with a dream: to make live theater that feels local, accessible, and kind of unhinged in the best way possible. This season, we’re inviting you to sponsor a show. Not a building. Not a legacy brick. Just one show, fully funded and flying high because of you.

WHAT YOU GET

  • Your name or business featured on posters, programs, and production materials

  • Social media shoutouts and lobby signage

  • Tickets to the show you sponsored and all of the other shows and events we do.

  • Deeply awkward thank-yous

  • Bragging rights forever (or until the curtain falls)

WHAT WE GET

  • A home. Sponsorship helps us pay rent, utilities, wifi, insurance to the Merced Multicultural Arts Center (MAC)—keeping us off the streets and on the stage.

  • A foundation. It helps us build up reusable sets, lights, and gear we can use show after show—little by little, turning our cardboard wings into something stronger.

  • A future. Every show sponsored now gets us closer to becoming the kind of theater company Merced deserves: grounded, sustainable, and gloriously dramatic.
