Dearly Departed

Show Description

Dearly Departed is a dysfunctional Southern family comedy where everything that can go wrong at a funeral, does. When Bud Turpin drops dead, his widow and adult children scramble to plan a proper service—except they’re too busy bickering to pull it off.

Ray-Bud drinks to cope, Junior’s marriage is unraveling, and Raynelle wants her late husband remembered exactly as he lived: surly. Add a nosy neighbor, a fire-and-brimstone preacher, and a gospel number or two, and you've got a darkly hilarious tale of grief, grace, and greasy fried chicken.
